The Orvelin Group acquires Hypermat

We are proud and pleased to announce that the Orvelin Group has now acquired full ownership of Hypermat. Previously, we held a 40% stake, but we are now taking full responsibility for the business. This marks an exciting milestone for us as a group.

Hypermat, which opened in spring 2014 in Charlottenberg, is one of the largest grocery stores in the Nordics. With an impressive retail area of 15,000 square meters, the store has become a key player in both local and cross-border trade. With a turnover of approximately SEK 655 million in 2023 and around 150 employees, Hypermat has established itself as a natural and successful retail destination.

Hypermat is an important part of the local business community in Charlottenberg and plays a key role in attracting both customers and visitors to the area. By building on the store’s success, we aim to continue contributing to local commerce and creating long-term value for both employees and customers.
